Spring has SPRUNG in our little town of Sun Valley

The grass at my house is turning green!!! The pond is flowing, the trees are have tiny little buds everywhere. What a relief, winter is over!!!

This summer is very exciting for me. Kim Seybert who owns one of the most beautiful TABLETOP companies will be coming to our store for a TRUNKSHOW in early August. I can’t wait, not only will she be bring more summer ideas, she will also bringing new fall tabletop. I don’t  want to get ahead of myself, I only want to think of summer, dinner in the patio, birthday parties for friends, romantic dinners and dancing in our fruit orchard… Some of my very favorite pieces from Kim Seybert are her outdoor melamine products, napkins and napkin rings. Most of her pieces and the colors are all about the beauty of nature.

Let me show you some

Happy spring

Thank You House Beautiful and Daisy HIll…by Terry

Such a lovely place setting. House Beautiful magazine featured one of our tabletop designers Daisy Hill. Her Fretwork placemat reminiscent of Chinese design and artwork is richly woven in a variety of colors. We “layered” this red placemat with Le Cadeaux melamine dinnerware for outdoor or patio dining.
Happy Dining, Terry

Fourth of July is almost here…We’re in the mood for a picnic!

Now is the time to get our your recipes for that family potato salad, fried chicken al la Murphy household, red white and blue cookies, apple pie and ice cream and candied apples!!! When I was a kid we would go to the beach in Santa Monica California and watch the fireworks and light sparklers. The world was so big and bright. Bonfires were everywhere!!! When I had my girls we would go up to Sun Valley Ice Show and watch the huge firework displays. All you heard were “oohs and ahhs” from every age group. Fourth of July is a happy fun family day along with being a day of great Americana. So get out your flag, wave it proudly and eat all your favorite foods with family and friends!!!
